Pray

Pray

When we recognize the glory of God, we will understand what a privilege it is to pray to Him. More importantly, we will recognize just how much we need His grace and strength in every aspect of our life. How can we not praise our great God and demonstrate just how much we depend on Him through prayer?

At Clermont Baptist Church we encourage growth in this area in several ways:
  • Personal prayer time: Set aside some time each day to thank God for the hundreds of physical and spiritual blessings that He has given. Praise and gratitude leads to joy. You can seek for wisdom or confess any wrongdoing. Then you heart will be pure and your mind focused on an awesome God before requesting His help in your life. He cares about your needs and burdens and will answer according to His perfect will.
  • Small Groups: Our groups dedicate significant time each week to pray for their members and praise God for working in their lives. This builds strong community and accountability, and the bond strengthens believers in a spiritual battle (Eph 6:18).
  • Corporate Prayer: Our Sunday morning worship service includes a time for the church body to pray together as a congregation. With a passage of Scripture and prompts from a pastor, the guests and members praise God and bring their requests before Him.
  • Wednesday Evening Prayer Meeting: Members gather at 7:00 pm to pray for all of the missionaries that CBC supports financially. Our missionaries provide us with update letters, and we pray both for their needs and continued blessing on their ministries.
